  • 1 Oct 08 - kickoff meeting new project with Mexico, UEMexCyt2 - CERCAL in Brussels. 3 year project of European Commission (FP7 INCO BILAT)
    • Partners: CONACYT (coordinator), ZSI, DLR, CERCAL, UAB, APRE, IRD & RIMS
    Aim: capacity building in Mexico in the field of international S&T cooperation with Europe:
    1) Support structure in Mexico to help Mexico-Europe cooperation
    2) Workshops on FP7 etc
    3) Policy Recommendations

  • May 08 - Toulon, France: ISHEID Conference and Elan2Life meeting. One2one meetings with TB and HIV experts across the world.

  • Mar 08- Shanghai, China: Frank delivered two presentations at the EFBIC RED conference on international cooperation in infectious diseases.
  • Feb 08 - Sofia Antipolis, France: RIMS co-organised a workshop on financing of international R&D.  This workshop was organised in the framework of Match2Biosme in which RIMS is a partner. 
  • Jan 08 - Turin, Italy: Frank attended the PROTON Conference. This is a key event for exchange of best practices in knowledge transfer in Europe with more than 200 participants. See conference statement.
